Adani Power Limited has secured a significant contract from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply of 2,500 MW of round-the-clock (RTC) renewable energy (RE) power.
Adani Power Limited has secured a significant long-term power supply contract after receiving a Letter of Award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for the supply of 2,500 MW of Renewable Energy Round-The-Clock (RE-RTC) power. The supply agreement will span a period of 25 years from the Scheduled Commencement Date of Supply.
The company was declared the successful bidder following the e-reverse auction (e-RA) process conducted by MSEDCL. The LoA was received by Adani Power on April 1, 2026, as part of the regulatory disclosure under SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The contract pertains to the supply of RE RTC power under the terms and conditions outlined in MSEDCL’s tender and the issued LoA. The agreement represents a domestic transaction and does not fall under related party transactions. Additionally, no promoter or group company of Adani Power holds any interest in MSEDCL in relation to this contract.
This development reinforces Adani Power’s strategic positioning in India’s evolving energy landscape, particularly in the renewable energy segment, while supporting the growing demand for reliable, round-the-clock green power supply.
