Fourth Partner Energy Secures 28 MW Hybrid Renewable Supply Deal with Hyundai

Fourth Partner Energy has expanded its partnership with Hyundai Motor Group through a new agreement to supply 28 MW of renewable energy from a wind-solar hybrid project in Tamil Nadu.

The latest deal builds on an existing collaboration between the two companies and extends clean energy supply to multiple Hyundai Group entities, including Hyundai Mobis, Hyundai Wia, Hyundai Glovis India, and Hyundai Transys.

The hybrid project, combining wind and solar generation, is designed to provide a more stable and consistent power supply compared to standalone renewable sources. This enables better alignment with the energy demands of large-scale manufacturing operations, particularly in the automotive sector.

The agreement follows an earlier power purchase arrangement signed in 2024, under which Fourth Partner Energy committed to supply over 100 MW of renewable energy capacity to Hyundai. The new 28 MW addition further strengthens Hyundai’s transition toward cleaner energy and supports its broader sustainability goals.

With this expansion, Hyundai is expected to significantly increase the share of renewable energy across its operations in India, reinforcing its decarbonisation strategy. The collaboration also highlights the growing adoption of hybrid renewable solutions among commercial and industrial consumers seeking reliable, cost-effective clean power.

The deal underscores the increasing role of integrated renewable energy providers in supporting corporate sustainability initiatives and accelerating India’s shift toward a low-carbon energy mix.
