UPPCL’s PuVVNL MD Shri Shambhu Kumar (IAS) Extends Support to PowerPax India Expo 2026 in Varanasi

Purvanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited (PuVVNL), a subsidiary of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL), Honourable Shri Shambhu Kumar (IAS), Managing Director, Government of Uttar Pradesh, has extended his support to the upcoming PowerPax India – Renewable Energy Expo 2026, scheduled to be held on May 02–03, 2026 at Deendayal Hastkala Sankul Trade Centre, Varanasi.

A team from Renewable Mirror recently visited the office of Shri Shambhu Kumar to formally invite him to the expo. During the meeting, he appreciated the initiative and acknowledged the importance of such platforms in spreading awareness about renewable energy among the masses and industry stakeholders.

He commended the efforts being made to create a common platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators, emphasizing that such initiatives play a key role in strengthening the power and renewable energy ecosystem in the state.

Shri Shambhu Kumar has also conveyed his willingness to attend the event as a Guest of Honour, further reinforcing institutional support for the initiative.

PowerPax India Renewable Energy Expo 2026 aims to serve as a key platform for the renewable energy sector, bringing together solar manufacturers, EPC companies, government bodies, investors, and technology providers. The event is expected to witness participation from over 100 companies and attract more than 10,000 visitors from across the country. Registration is free.

The expo will facilitate discussions around solar energy, energy storage, and emerging technologies, contributing to Uttar Pradesh’s vision of strengthening its power infrastructure and clean energy adoption.

Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL), through its distribution companies such as Purvanchal Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited, plays a crucial role in power distribution and management across the state. It continues to support initiatives that enhance energy access, efficiency, and the integration of renewable energy into the grid.
