Larsen & Toubro has secured multiple ‘significant’ orders for its Buildings & Factories (B&F) business vertical, further strengthening its presence in India’s industrial and manufacturing infrastructure segment.
The orders, classified under L&T’s “significant” category typically ranging between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore span multiple states and include both new project awards and additional work in ongoing assignments.
A key contract has been awarded in Gujarat, where L&T will undertake the construction of a float glass manufacturing plant. The scope of work is comprehensive, covering engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) activities, including civil works, structural steel, mechanical systems, electrical and plumbing installations, along with associated external development.
In Andhra Pradesh, the company has secured another major order from a leading two-wheeler manufacturer for the development of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The project will involve civil, structural, and architectural construction, highlighting L&T’s expertise in delivering complex industrial infrastructure.
In addition to these new contracts, the B&F vertical has also received multiple add-on orders for ongoing projects, reflecting continued client confidence and the company’s strong execution track record.
The Buildings & Factories business of L&T operates across a wide spectrum of segments, including industrial plants, commercial buildings, airports, data centres, residential developments, and specialised manufacturing facilities. Its portfolio also extends to advanced sectors such as automobile plants, renewable energy facilities, glass plants, and food processing units, underlining its diversified EPC capabilities.
These latest order wins reinforce L&T’s position as a leading player in India’s construction and industrial infrastructure space. The projects are expected to contribute to capacity creation in manufacturing sectors while strengthening the company’s order book and execution pipeline.
The development also reflects sustained demand for industrial and factory infrastructure, driven by ongoing investments in manufacturing, localisation, and supply chain expansion across India.
