L&T Wins ‘Significant’ Orders for Buildings & Factories Business Across Multiple States

Larsen & Toubro has secured multiple domestic contracts for its Buildings & Factories (B&F) business vertical, with each order falling in the ₹1,000–2,500 crore range, classified by the company as “significant.”

According to the company’s official statement dated March 27, 2026, the orders span key industrial states including Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh, reinforcing its presence in the country’s manufacturing infrastructure segment.

In Gujarat, L&T has been awarded a contract for the construction of a float glass manufacturing plant. The scope includes complete design and execution, covering civil works, structural steel, mechanical systems, electrical and plumbing installations, along with associated external development.

In Andhra Pradesh, the company has secured another order from a leading two-wheeler manufacturer to build a state-of-the-art production facility. The project involves civil, structural steel, and architectural works, supporting ongoing capacity expansion in the automotive manufacturing sector.

In addition to these fresh contracts, L&T has also received multiple add-on orders across its existing projects, reflecting continued client engagement and repeat business driven by execution performance.

The Buildings & Factories division of L&T operates across a wide spectrum of infrastructure segments, including industrial plants, data centres, airports, commercial and residential buildings, and new energy facilities, positioning it to capture demand arising from India’s ongoing industrial and infrastructure expansion.

These latest order wins underline sustained momentum in L&T’s EPC business, particularly in industrial and manufacturing infrastructure, where investment activity remains strong across sectors.
