Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said it is a matter of great pride that global delegates are gathering in India for the India AI Impact Summit, calling it a reflection of the country’s growing technological strength and youth potential.

Taking to social media platform X, the Prime Minister said the summit demonstrates the confidence the global community has in India’s innovation ecosystem.

“It is a matter of great pride for us that people from all over the world are coming to India for the India AI Impact Summit. This also showcases the potential of our country’s youth,” he stated.

He added that the event highlights India’s rapid progress in science and technology and its increasing contribution to global development.


🇮🇳 India AI Impact Expo 2026 to Be Inaugurated

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the India AI Impact Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, where the event will be held from February 16 to 20.

The Expo is being organised alongside the AI Impact Summit and is spread across 10 thematic arenas covering more than 70,000 square metres. It aims to bring together global technology companies, startups, research institutions, academia, Union Ministries, state governments, and international partners.

The Expo will feature 13 country pavilions, showcasing international collaboration in artificial intelligence. Participating nations include:

  • Estonia
  • Tajikistan
  • Several African nations

The event is expected to attract over 2.5 lakh visitors, including global delegates and industry leaders.

The Expo will host more than 300 curated exhibition pavilions and live demonstrations, structured around three themes — People, Planet and Progress.

In addition:

  • Over 600 high-potential startups will showcase AI-driven solutions
  • More than 500 sessions will be organised
  • Around 3,250 speakers and panelists will participate

The sessions will focus on AI’s transformative impact across sectors and future policy frameworks to ensure that AI benefits citizens globally.

Officials described the Expo as a national showcase of “AI in action,” where innovation meets real-world implementation.
