RAYZON Solar Joins United Nations Global Compact to Drive Sustainable Energy Transition on Global Scale

RAYZON Solar Limited, a rapidly expanding force in the global renewable energy Sector, announced its official participation in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC).

Joining the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative marks a pivotal milestone in RAYZON’s journey from its establishment in 2017 to its current status as a 9,000 MW (9 GW) manufacturing powerhouse, explicitly aligning its international expansion with rigorous Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.

By committing to the UN Global Compact, RAYZON Solar joins a global network of over 20,000 forward-thinking companies dedicated to taking responsible business action to create a sustainable world.

“As we scale up our operations, our responsibility towards the planet and its people scales up with us. Joining the UN Global Compact is not merely a symbolic gesture, but also it is a foundational business strategy. We believe that true leadership in the renewable sector requires integrating world-class manufacturing with a commitment towards uncompromised ethical, social, and environmental standards. We are engineering a solution that doesn’t just power the future but also protects it.” Says Amit Barve, Chief Executive Officer of RAYZON Solar Limited

Integrating the Ten Principles into Our Core Strategy

As a participant in the United Nations Global Compact, RAYZON Solar is committed to making its Ten Principles as an integral part of our strategy, culture, and day-to-day operations. We recognize that advancing corporate sustainability is an ongoing journey of continuous improvement, and we are actively aligning our strategic growth with these universal values.

We are dedicated to accelerating the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies. By operating a 9 GW fully automated manufacturing facility and advancing our 5.1 GW TOPCon cell line, we are maximizing clean energy that yields to support in the global transition to a low-carbon economy.

Simultaneously, we are committed to supporting internationally proclaimed human rights and upholding fair labour practices throughout our expansion. RAYZON’s strategic backward integration—including our 19,800 MTPA Aluminium extrusion unit and planned Ingot/Wafer slicing facilities—is deliberately designed to increase visibility, self-sufficiency across our supply chain and reduce carbon footprint by localizing supply chain. This enhanced transparency empowers us to better monitor our operations, responsibly source materials, and ensure our business practices respect human dignity. Furthermore, as RAYZON scales its footprint across international markets, we are dedicated to working against corruption in all its forms, reinforcing a culture of transparency, accountability, and robust ESG governance across our global partnerships.

Scaling Renewables Responsibly

RAYZON’s massive capacity expansion serves as the engine for its sustainable commitments. Recognizing that the energy transition requires both volume and technological excellence, the company is actively bridging the gap between global climate ambition and tangible action:

  • Uncompromising Quality: Recognized globally as a “TOP Performer” in the Kiwa PVEL PV Module Reliability Scorecard, ensuring long-term product efficiency and reducing solar electronic waste.
  • Technological Innovation: The advanced 5.1 GW TOPCon technology line pushes the boundaries of photoelectric conversion, making clean energy more accessible and affordable.
  • A Complete Ecosystem: Future horizontal expansion into cutting-edge Inverters and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) will allow RAYZON to provide resilient, end-to-end clean energy infrastructure to communities worldwide.

Accountability and Future Action

Membership in the UN Global Compact requires measurable action. In strict alignment with the UNGC framework, RAYZON Solar commits to transparently reporting its progress. Annually, the company will submit a Communication on Progress (CoP) detailing its practical efforts to implement the Ten Principles and advance the broader UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
