Shakti Pumps Limited Showcases Solar Irrigation Solutions at Unnat Krishi Mahotsav 2026

Shakti Pumps Limited showcased its solar-powered irrigation solutions at the Unnat Krishi Mahotsav 2026, held in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh, reinforcing its focus on advancing sustainable agriculture technologies.

The three-day national agriculture festival was inaugurated by Rajnath Singh, alongside Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Mohan Yadav, while Nitin Gadkari attended the closing session as the guest of honour. The event featured more than 200 stalls representing companies across the agricultural ecosystem, serving as a platform for innovation, collaboration, and farmer engagement.

During the event, Shakti Pumps conducted live demonstrations of its 3 HP solar pump system, drawing attention from farmers, agri-entrepreneurs, government representatives, and industry stakeholders. At its pavilion, the company displayed a range of solar pump solutions, including stainless steel submersible pumps, surface pumps, and openwell pumps, designed to address diverse agricultural irrigation needs.

The company stated that its solar-powered systems are aimed at providing reliable and efficient water management solutions for farmers, helping reduce dependence on conventional energy sources while improving irrigation practices. Throughout the festival, Shakti Pumps’ team engaged directly with farmers to better understand challenges related to water access, energy costs, and farm-level irrigation efficiency.

The company noted that its participation in the event further strengthens its presence in Madhya Pradesh, a key agricultural state witnessing increasing adoption of solar-powered irrigation technologies. With supportive government policies and rising awareness among farmers, demand for efficient and sustainable pumping solutions is expected to grow.

Shakti Pumps added that it remains focused on driving innovation and supporting India’s agricultural sector through sustainable and farmer-centric technologies.
